The Kent village of Pembury is situated on the old Hastings road, the A21 now by passes the village which is several miles from Tunbridge wells, Tonbridge and Paddock Wood all of which have mainline stations. it has a link to the kent county bye ways and foot paths with in 100 feet of this large gardened traditional country pub. Why not walk from Tunbridge wells to Pembury enjoy a Lunch or even a breakfast, sample some of the excelent real ale and then walk home, what a way to spend a sunny day.
